Well, after talking to Dark Force and getting all
the facts in this scenerio. Some of the things
I posted where either 1. Rumor, 2. Someone
trying to hurt Dark Force and DeJaP, 3. misinformation
and misunderstanding, or 4. Stupidity on my part. Damn,
I wish I could find the post but anyway, They have
received no Hardware as of yet.
First and foremost, I want to apologize to Dark Force
because it seemed that this quote here was directed at
him. "With that said though, there are still a LOT of
individuals that make this fun enough for me to stick
around. Wildbill, Akujin, Bongo`, Laxidman, Drakkhen,
Klarth and a few others that I really enjoy hanging
out with and talking to and even collaborating on
projects with." This quote was not directed at him
or DeJaP at all. Just some people I've lost respect
at in general. He wasn't one of them. In fact, I
still get along with Dark Force fine.
I darn well can't find that false post, but I
apologize for it none the less. I should have
went to him first before posting this. I apologize
for that.
I've said to him, I feel better about the hardware
situation than I did when I hadn't talked with him.
I still don't think I'm 100% for it, but I understand
his reasons and I respect them.
Dark Force assures me that any money left would be returned
to donators. He isn't sure why Tomato didn't post it that
way but that is EXACTLY what will happen. I wasn't trying
to say that wasn't what was going to happen either. Although
it does look that way even to me now. Sorry sorry. I was
just trying to say that it is the proper thing to do. That
is all. I'm sorry Dark Force, I'm not trying to say you
were untrustworthy with that. I came off completely wrong.
There are other things in here too I should cover, but I
talked to Dark Force about each and every one. For each instance
I apologize where it was appropriate.
With that said, I still stand on the fact that I don't
see the hardware donations as a great thing but he assures
me what he wants is older hardware that people don't need.
So I can find it a bit more respectable. I shouldn't have
bought into a false post is all. I'm sorry DF. I don't see
them as such a bad thing anymore either. I'm kind of neutral
on them but I would have to say I do lean a little to the disapprove
column. But that isn't my call and I should have never made it.
I should have kept my mouth shut.
